I case you can’t tell from some of the bakes I have done in the past, I am obsessed with meringue. From meringue buttercream to meringue nests I can’t get enough of the stuff. This year was my sixth wedding anniversary with Hubby, the sixth year is the sugar year. I couldn’t think of a better present than meringue kisses laced with our two favourites spirits. Totally unchild friendly and therefore all ours!
Ordinarily I would not add liquid to meringue, and it certainly did make it softer than normal. However, I only needed to add a very very small amount of each liqueur and the flavour still came through quite strong.
