How was everyone’s week? Sarah is back from sunning it up in Greece and how beautiful her holiday looked too. I am still on a high from the gorgeous royal wedding. Didn’t they look so happy?
In case you haven’t noticed, Winnettes has had a little update and a little rebrand. What do you think? This is to mark the start of a new chapter here on the blog where I am going back to the reason I started blogging…. Food. And incorporating a new passion which is Eco Friendly living. Unfortunately in this day and age of increasing online interaction people seem to think it is ok to leave nasty messages for another to read. The written word has extreme power and it is a power many people underestimate. There used to be a saying that if you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything at all. Once wise advice. However now I feel it should also be “If it isn’t nice enough to say to someone in person then don’t type it.” It is hard to avoid nasty comments when online. I’ve been there and thankfully not often. Welsh Mum Writing offers some excellent advice to deal with it when it happens to you.

I loved this poem. We have hit the tantrum phase with Evie and this just really rung true, especially ‘I’ve no patience but you have so, Until I’ve calmed, don’t let me go.’
